This is one of the newest of the No Hassle disc brake kits from AC Industries! AC Industries was the first to design and produce the truly bolt on No Hassle kit back 18 years ago. This is the 2nd generation of No Hassle wide 5 disc brake kits and it is lighter and easier to install. This kit has the 5 x 205mm lug pattern rotors and bolts right on to the stock drum spindles. This kit will fit 1967-1968 Bug and Karmann Ghia's with ball joint style front suspensions. This kit will also work great on fiberglass body buggies and replica cars with the same suspensions. The beauty of the AC Industries No Hassle kit is that it converts a drum brake front end to disc brakes with out changing the spindles. The conversion can be done with basic hand tools, will take less time to install and you don't need to re-align the car when you are finished!

The kit includes:
(2) front rotors
(2) floating calipers
(1) set ofpremium semi-metallic brake pads #D391
(1) pair drum spindle adapter brackets
(2) stainless steel DOT brake hoses
Bearings and seals*
All mounting hardware
Step by step instructions

NOTE:Requires 15" wheels or larger. This kit will not work with 14" wheels.

NOTE:The 498540 kit (1967-1968) for Bug and Karmann Ghia use shorter brake hoses (15"/380mm) than our498530, (1966) kit. Please make sure you are ordering the correct kit.

Replacement pads available here: #D391
