This is a Brand New Set of 96mm Pistons and Cylinders for the VW Type 4 and Porsche 914 1.7/1.8L with the Stock 66mm Stock Crank. The Pistons are a Flat Top Slipper Skirt design. They Slip into both the 1.7 and 1.8L Cases. 1.7L Heads will need to be opened,no Machine work is needed on the 1.8L
