Description
Steering box for air cooled VW. This box attaches to your steering shaft and swings the pitman arm side to side. It's also responsible for a leverage change due to gearing. Worn steering boxes have tight and/or loose spots and if you can turn your wheel and the wheels don't turn for 1/4 turn or more then it is time to replace. It is also a good idea to replace the steering box to shaft coupler as well.
Does not fit Super Beetle.
