Decklid Hinge Bracket, M6-1.0 Threaded, Type 1 1950-79

How many of you have a bracket that has at least one of the 2 holes stripped out? The reason your deck lid stays attached to your bug is partly due to this plate.

These plates are what fits through the thin rectangular opening on the body brace that the deck lid hinges bolt to.

There are 2 brackets per car. Each bracket has 2 holes in it that are 6mm x 1.0 thread pitch.
