AS41 mag cases generally weigh about 17 pounds less than aluminum engine cases, and magnesium engine cases have better heat dissipation properties. AS41 mag cases have been used by VW drag racers, daily drivers and restorers for many years.

Stock replacement 1500-1600cc can be bored and machined to work on engines all the way up to 2386cc.

Machine work available:

• Bore to 92mm needed for 90.5 and 92 STD piston and liner kits
• Bore to 94mm needed for 92 thick wall and 94mm piston and liner kits
• Sand Seal for machine in sand seals that are sturdy than the bolt on
• Shuffle Pin for extreme revving up pass 6000 RPM
• Stroker clearance needed for cranks bigger than 76mm
• Tap for Full Flow needed for remote oil coolers and or filters
