Rebuilt AA/GEX Engines for 72-83 VW Bus, Van, Vanagon

All AA-GEX Long Block VW engines are Hot Run Tested. This means that we temporarily install carburetion and other accessories to actually fire them up to run our complete battery of tests before the GEX name goes on.

If you have a 72 thru 75 Bus and would like to upgrade from your 1.7 or 1.8 engine to a 2.0 liter engine, use part number GX10725H below and we'll set it up correctly for your early Bus. Or for some additional performance beyond that, please see the AA-GEX POWER MASTER engines.

The 1.7-1.8 engines with crate below weigh 182 pounds. The 2.0 engines with crate below weight 202 pounds.
